Asobo, known today as the Microsoft Flight Simulator developer, created groundbreaking technology for large scale maps that was intended to be used in a high quality rally raid title. It was never released and ended up as FUEL, a post-apocalyptic open-world racing game. What happened?
WRC 9 developer Kylotonn today announced via tweet and Facebook post that they had deployed a hotfix “that fixed the issue adding randomly seconds to the timer.”
No other information has been made available, but the bug was fairly well known and had obviously begun to interfere with the launch of their eSportsWRC championship. Oops.
