Video game development is rarely about one man, but if it was, then Terence Groening should certainly get a mention for his contributions to the genre as the man responsible for the physics of Sportscar GT, EA’s PC F1 and NASCAR games of the early 2000’s, rFactor, rFactor 2 and every title and rFpro simulator that spawned from ISI’s engine.

Richard Burns Rally is a sim racing game, published by SCi and developed by Warthog with advice of WRC champion Richard Burns.
It was released in July 2004 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, Microsoft Windows, and in July 2005 for Gizmondo. Although reviews were mixed, the game is highly praised by gamers due to it’s complex physics engine and realistic portrayals of real-life courses.
