Shawn Nash is a behind-the-scenes pioneer responsible for SODA Off Road Racing’s incredible physics, Papyrus’ graphical advancements and iRacing’s use of laser scan data for the physical track surfaces.
This interview with RSC, published in 2021, details his early life and career, through both his own company, Papyrus, Electronic Arts, to his time at iRacing.
Reiza posted their monthly developer update on Friday, detailing some of what we can expect over the next month as well as for the rest of the year.
Here are the finer details:
– 1983 F1 McLaren MP4-1C coming in first major update of 2022 along with Generic Formula Retro 1983-Spec cars.
– Update in late January will complete the Racin´ USA Part 2 DLC content pack.
– 1970s Spa and Nürburgring versions coming Q1, 2022.
– Season Pass & Premium Expansion Packs will be presented in the January Dev Update.
– Items briefly mentioned for 2022 include: Steam achievements, full course yellows, oval racing, dirt racing and a “very elaborate career mode”.
