As a direct ancestor of iRacing, the ‘Grand Prix Legends engine’ had multiple stock car racing false starts, before eventually releasing as NASCAR Racing 4. The original NASCAR 3, cancelled and replaced by one that used NASCAR 2’s engine, is barely remembered.
Better known today as the developer of Skyrim and Fallout, Bethesda once had a well-respected racing game franchise and were deep into development of a licensed Skip Barber Racing title that never released.
If you were concerned about the state of ACC on consoles after the Q&A and subsequent video postings around the Web yesterday, this video (below) goes a long way to allay fears. The video is recorded on PS4 Pro and is 1080p (1920×1080) at 30fps. The driver is also using a wheel or being much more precise with the controller.
