Studio 397 have released a Cupra Leon BTCC car and an entire roster of 2023 teams, driver and liveries for rFactor 2. This release comes after teasing it last week.

The BTCC content comes to rFactor 2 as Studio 397’s parent company, Motorsport Games, have not yet released their previously announced BTCC game and delayed it until 2024. The positive of the situation, of course, is that it got released somewhere…

Below the screenshots you will find the trailer, text from the Studio 397 news post, release notes for the update to other content that was also released and then text from Motorsport Games’ press release.

Hello Sim Racers!

As you all know, we have been consistently putting out British Touring Car Championship content over the past year, and we are now bringing that crescendo to its peak as we complete the full 2023 grid with the addition of the Team HARD Cupra Leon into rFactor 2.

The Team HARD squad features 6 fantastic drivers; Dexter Patterson, Bobby Thompson, Jack Butel, Dan Lloyd, Nicolas Hamilton, and Jade Edwards. We are incredibly excited to be bringing all 6 of their 2023 liveries plus all Team HARD 2021 and 2022 paint schemes the the rFactor 2 platform, and we think that you will love driving the Cupra Leon!
