Asobo, known today as the Microsoft Flight Simulator developer, created groundbreaking technology for large scale maps that was intended to be used in a high quality rally raid title. It was never released and ended up as FUEL, a post-apocalyptic open-world racing game. What happened?

A new ‘hotfix’ has been released for TrackDayR that includes as many fixes and tweaks as would be expected in a regular patch. Most notable changes include new physics, animations and bugfixes.

– new physical roll resistance and wheel sway speed damping
– new sinking system based on soil type
– new power delivery system
– new calculating tire contact area to ground (patch) based on dynamic load on wheel
– new experimental tire gyroscopic inertia moment

– new separate brake power adjustment ( front / rear )
