Milestone have previewed MotoGP 23 once again by putting slightly more detail into the dynamic weather and flat-to-flag pit stop capabilities they are introducing the franchise (unless you own a Switch, as that version won’t have it).

This sounds great, but obviously weather isn’t entirely unpredictable in the real-world so I am hopeful the title will have some sort of forecast. They haven’t shown this yet, so we can’t assume… But I imagine it would be incredibly annoying to switch to wet for a little forecasted drizzle that disappears the instant you pit. The AI may well be aware how little it’s supposed to rain.

UNPREDICTABILITY IS IN THE FORECAST

April 18, 2023 – The greatest MotoGP champions are always ready for anything. Are you ready to face any condition on the track combining agility and strategy?

Unpredictability will make all the difference this year, as we wanted to challenge you with the most realistic experience you’ve ever had. Get ready to feel the adrenaline pumping through your veins!

It always happens like this: when everything seems to be under control, here comes the rain. The track gets wet and your bike’s performance starts to suffer. And this is exactly the moment when you will have to adapt depending on the lap, put your strategy into action facing the unpredictability of the Dynamic Weather and follow the real MotoGP rules!

Don’t panic, this year with the Flag to Flag* rule you can enter the pit lane where you will find your team ready to help you with the bike change. Choose the right moment, so you can get the best possible performance and get back into the race even faster.

*Flag to Flag not supported on Nintendo Switch

So much more than a video game, don’t you think? MotoGP™23 will be available from June 8, 2023 for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™ and Steam.
