If you ever played Papyrus’ seminal Grand Prix Legends then you’ve read his name. Rich began working as a tester on NASCAR Racing (1994) and was with Papyrus at the end. Asobo, known today as the Microsoft Flight Simulator developer, created groundbreaking technology for large scale maps that was intended to be used in a high quality rally raid title. It was never released and ended up as FUEL, a post-apocalyptic open-world racing game. What happened?
Sierra have today posted patches for the v1.0 and v1.1 versions of IndyCar Racing II which will update them to v1.2. Note that the v1.0 patch will not work with the v1.1 version, or when running from CD-ROM, and the v1.1 Patch will not work with the v1.0 installation.
If you have v1.0 installed on your hard drive grab ‘Patch 1.0.0-1.0.2 (DOS)’ from the downloads page.
