A Thrustmaster TS-PC is currently my daily driver. At the time of purchase it was the best non-Direct Drive wheel for the money (direct drive being a price point at that time I couldn’t stretch for). But, things have changed. Fanatec have lowered the pricing of DD wheels to the point where (when I have a job – lol) I will deeply consider the upgrade, selling my TS-PC to pay for at least a third.

Meanwhile, Thrustmaster have released another wheel with older technology at an increased price that (as far as I can tell) doesn’t compete with anything in a reasonable way. You can now purchase across Europe, with US and other locations soon to get their Amazon listings, etc.

While I can completely understand Logitech’s “we keep building slightly improved G25s and they keep buying them” approach, this move from Thrustmaster just seems a little tone deaf to the market and it’s needs. Is it meant to compete with the Clubsport 2.5? If so, it’s a couple of years late.
