As a direct ancestor of iRacing, the ‘Grand Prix Legends engine’ had multiple stock car racing false starts, before eventually releasing as NASCAR Racing 4. The original NASCAR 3, cancelled and replaced by one that used NASCAR 2’s engine, is barely remembered.
Better known today as the developer of Skyrim and Fallout, Bethesda once had a well-respected racing game franchise and were deep into development of a licensed Skip Barber Racing title that never released.
Milestone continue to prefer Facebook to market their upcoming Superbike release by posting a short teaser only on that platform.
The teaser suggests that they believe their new A.I. is greatly improved:
Don’t let your rivals leave you behind! Thanks to the revolutionary Neural A.I. A.N.N.A., you’ll face fast and smart opponents in the most exciting races ever. #SBK22 will be available on September 15.
