This Footwork–Arrows car had a disastrious 1991 season. Firstly it couldn’t fit its engine, the Porsche 3512 3.5 V12, but even when it did it was heavy, slow, and unreliable. By mid-season the team redesigned the chassis to fit a Hart-prepared Cosworth-Ford DFR V8 engine, but that only led to a season high 10th-place finish in the Japanese Grand Prix.
First seen in sim racing with F1GP (1992).

HDC has finally got another optimization patch that will hopefully improve the horrendous issues I had with it. I could tell immediately that the physics in this title are pretty impressive, and I sincerely hope this patch makes it what it should have been.
Major changes:
1. Optimization
The update brings performance optimizations – the game will run smoother and without stuttering.2. Wheel Controllers & Game Pads
Force feedback on wheel controllers is here, finally, and we’d like to hear how the game plays for you with this change. We have also fixed issues with Thrustmaster and Fanatec gear shifter support; added the possibility to navigate menus with the wheel; tweaked support for some gamepads (including PS4 pad) for better experience.
3. New Level & Progress
The game has a new level called Mountain Village, with three new sections. You will also notice some changes in game progress, order of levels, rewards, prices, etc. – especially if you start your game career from scratch.4. Visual Update
We have enhanced the look of the game, and we think the changes not only add to the overall quality but give HDC a new vibe.5. Bugfixes & Tweaks
We have done a bunch of fixes to the game plus tweaked some mechanics for better quality of life. A few known issues we’re still working on include an achievement bug some of you reported, which we’ll be including in an upcoming fix.
