NEVERWINTER NIGHTS AND GRAND PRIX 4 ENJOY BAFTA SUCCESS
Lyon-France 25th October – Infogrames is proud to announce that two of its acclaimed titles were recognised at the 2002 BAFTA awards in London on Thursday 10th October.
Held annually in the heart of London the BAFTA awards are the premier international event of the year, rewarding achievement in technology and creativity. All the High Tech industry is acknowledged during this spectacular night and Infogrames were the winners of two of these prestigious awards :
– Neverwinter Nights, the RPG from Bioware : Best PC Game,
– Geoff Crammond’s Grand prix 4 on PC :v Best Sports Game of the year.Each jury consisted of key industry figures that gave their feedback and opinion on all the entrants. The diversity of the entries – from art installations, WAP, CD-ROMs and DVDs through to games, websites and digital television – highlighted the increasing convergence between all forms of media.
