Asobo, known today as the Microsoft Flight Simulator developer, created groundbreaking technology for large scale maps that was intended to be used in a high quality rally raid title. It was never released and ended up as FUEL, a post-apocalyptic open-world racing game. What happened?
Better known today as the developer of Skyrim and Fallout, Bethesda once had a well-respected racing game franchise and were deep into development of a licensed Skip Barber Racing title that never released.
Codemasters today livestreamed and posted their release trailer. It begins and ends with clips from the Braking Point storyline mode, but the majority of the content is general ingame footage.
If you haven’t seen already I did upload the first hour of gameplay (Chapters 1 and 2) of Braking Point to YouTube. I have been given a Steam key of F1 2021 to review and should have that posted on or shortly after the press embargo lifts.
