About

Tim has been gaming on PC since the 80s enjoying text-based adventures and cassette-based programs on the Commodore Vic-20. From there he moved onto a Commodore C-64 and discovered sim racing through Geoff Crammond's Revs but was only bitten by the bug in the 90s with Formula One Grand Prix and Indy 500: The Simulation.

An original founder of this Web site, Tim founded Legends Central (which became RSC) and built it up to a thriving community before he went on to work for a combined 14 years in the game development industry with iRacing, Image Space Inc. and Studio 397.

Upon leaving the industry in the summer of 2019, Tim resurrected the now abandoned RSC with the intention of bringing it back as a news source and a "museum" where sim racers can enjoy learning about the history of the genre. Now back working in the industry and continuing with RSC, he covers all aspects of the industry and is familiar with all the hardware, software and major players.
