Better known today as the developer of Skyrim and Fallout, Bethesda once had a well-respected racing game franchise and were deep into development of a licensed Skip Barber Racing title that never released.
Asobo, known today as the Microsoft Flight Simulator developer, created groundbreaking technology for large scale maps that was intended to be used in a high quality rally raid title. It was never released and ended up as FUEL, a post-apocalyptic open-world racing game. What happened?
I haven’t posted about the Chris and Tony West’s new racing game in a while, but figured I would post another update featuring all the Brooklands previews they posted to Twitter this month. It’s worth noting that these are lower res previews, but show the aesthetic and details. Higher resolution versions are available on their Patreon (I won’t post them here to avoid undermining their backers access, but have used one for the header image above).
