If you ever played Papyrus’ seminal Grand Prix Legends then you’ve read his name. Rich began working as a tester on NASCAR Racing (1994) and was with Papyrus at the end. In this interview, published in 2022, we discuss his time at the legendary studio and the design of Grand Prix Legends, including initial feelings of hurt at not being asked to join iRacing.

Asobo, known today as the Microsoft Flight Simulator developer, created groundbreaking technology for large scale maps that was intended to be used in a high quality rally raid title. It was never released and ended up as FUEL, a post-apocalyptic open-world racing game. What happened?

Milestone released a gameplay trailer/preview for their upcoming AMA Supercross title yesterday. Unfortunately their own upload of their own trailer was blocked by Feld Entertainment (marketing and ownership group behind the real-life series) so the only place I think you can see it right now (until Feld wake up, I guess) is on the PlayStation YouTube below:

Even the steering has been revised for a more precise guide in all phases on the ground; last but not least, suspension system and drift management are now refined, allowing it to be more aggressive without falling by opening the throttle at the end of the drift.

Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 5 also features many help for newcomers with the Future Academy, a friendly tutorial to guide you through the mastering of the Supercross basics.
