Better known today as the developer of Skyrim and Fallout, Bethesda once had a well-respected racing game franchise and were deep into development of a licensed Skip Barber Racing title that never released.
As a direct ancestor of iRacing, the ‘Grand Prix Legends engine’ had multiple stock car racing false starts, before eventually releasing as NASCAR Racing 4. The original NASCAR 3, cancelled and replaced by one that used NASCAR 2’s engine, is barely remembered.
Milestone released an update today that allows their title to handle under-age accounts properly, meaning that for online access parental/guardian approval will be required on consoles.
PS5 (01.022.000)
Xbox Series S/X (1.0.0.25)
Their text:
With the latest update to handle under-age console profiles more effectively on RIDE 5, if your account is flagged as under-age, parental/guardian approval will be necessary for online access.
The approval will be managed via email request directly from the game and can be approved or denied by the parents/guardians accordingly.
