Asobo, known today as the Microsoft Flight Simulator developer, created groundbreaking technology for large scale maps that was intended to be used in a high quality rally raid title. It was never released and ended up as FUEL, a post-apocalyptic open-world racing game. What happened?
Better known today as the developer of Skyrim and Fallout, Bethesda once had a well-respected racing game franchise and were deep into development of a licensed Skip Barber Racing title that never released.
This past weekend saw the 8 Hours of Bahrain Race in the Le Mans Virtual Series 2022, and while I don’t normally report on eSports events this time the race is using a piece of content not yet released to the public.
First announced (with the eSports Series schedule) in June and then with just a few screenshots earlier this month, you can now check out the livestream archive video below to get a solid eight hours of it.
