Things like this always look cooler on someone else. Though I’d love to have the looks to pull this clothing off, I think she does a better job than I ever will.

Press release:

10TACLE licenses “GT Legends” brand to race wear specialist DAKOTA
The two companies present the new motor sport simulation “GT LEGENDS” on the IAA in Frankfurt

Darmstadt (Germany), 14 September 2005: The German publisher 10TACLE STUDIOS AG goes new ways for the marketing of the new racing simulation “GT Legends”. With the race-wear specialist DAKOTA an exclusive merchandising line was designed which is being distributed via catalogue and the DAKOTA website (www.grandprix-jackets.com). During one of the first joint events for the two companies, namely this year’s IAA in Frankfurt, DAKOTA and 10TACLE STUDIOS AG will present “GT Legends” to motor sports lovers on the DAKOTA trade fair stand having 150 square metres (hall 1.1, stand A39). Further international events will follow.

The colours and style of the jackets, shirts, bags and caps are inspired by the 1970s and this was an obvious choice as this particular style is also used in the new racing reference “GT Legends”. “GT Legends” revives the motor sport of the important era of touring cars. Back in the ’60s and ’70s racing was all about the driver’s skills as there was no such thing as driving assistants and electronic aids. The outstanding quality of the graphics, the authentic physics of the racing cars and the original sound make this game a unique experience as the specialized press has already confirmed.

The historic racing simulation “GT Legends” will be released on 6 October.

About DAKOTA

DAKOTA perches in the frame of the autumn/winter collection which presented now to the market the balance point at the themes Drive- and Lifestyle. Because of the highly demand most of the styles are now available.

Main item of the collection is the theme Drivestyle with the “Home of Speed series”.

Here shows DAKOTA her experience and competence out of 15 years Racing sport and “Life in the fast lane” engagement. As opposed to other basic “look like” Racing collections which are at the market, shows the “Home of Speed collection” real themes and racing matters. For example from the end of the 60ies inspirational Grand Prix jackets, which were beard of heroes as Steve Mc Clean. This jackets are authentic in Canvas and Leather as well as furnished with the original sticker of the sponsors Gulf, Heuer and Firestone.

A further theme devoted with the Mopars, those legendary Chrysler and Dodge muscle cars from the beginning 70ies, whose rear and chassis was decorated with the impressive logos and names of all Hemi, Ramcharger, Roadrunner and Super Bee, which are state of the art for style and coolness.

The comparison to this build the modern Suvivor, Winterspeed and Lifestyle collection out of shiny Streettex fabric, Camouflage optic and couture Leatherjackets with gold coloured details.

This variety and quality place DAKOTA at the moment in Pole Position in this segment at the German market.
