As a direct ancestor of iRacing, the ‘Grand Prix Legends engine’ had multiple stock car racing false starts, before eventually releasing as NASCAR Racing 4. The original NASCAR 3, cancelled and replaced by one that used NASCAR 2’s engine, is barely remembered.
Reiza have previewed their 1971 build of the Nurburgring for Automobilista 2 on social media along with the words “this weekend” on a separate post.
As a fan of historic racing, this looks absolutely beautiful. I’m really happy that, finally, another version of this track from an older era exists from a first-party source other than Grand Prix Legends.
