Asobo, known today as the Microsoft Flight Simulator developer, created groundbreaking technology for large scale maps that was intended to be used in a high quality rally raid title. It was never released and ended up as FUEL, a post-apocalyptic open-world racing game. What happened?
Better known today as the developer of Skyrim and Fallout, Bethesda once had a well-respected racing game franchise and were deep into development of a licensed Skip Barber Racing title that never released.
Just a few days after their McLaren MP4/8 spotlight post on the car that Ayrton Senna drove to that memorable victory in 1993, Studio 397 have now announced the track to go along with it as both the National and Grand Prix layouts of Donington Park will be coming to rFactor 2 with the 2022 Q2 (May, 2022) content drop.
