Asobo, known today as the Microsoft Flight Simulator developer, created groundbreaking technology for large scale maps that was intended to be used in a high quality rally raid title. It was never released and ended up as FUEL, a post-apocalyptic open-world racing game. What happened?

Over the weekend Reiza released their v1.3 update, a couple of patches, and postponed their second Racin’ USA DLC pack due to another incoming patch that seems to be required.

Note: You must delete Automobilista 2\savegame\[User Profile Number]\automobilista 2\tuningsetup files for v1.3.

Their announcement of the DLC delay came in a tweet with this text and screenshots:

We have a lead on the source of stuttering & similar issues reported by some AMS2 users and are pushing for a solution on the next release – due to this and also to ensure some extra polish, we´re postponing the release of Racin´ USA Pt2 to Friday Dec 3rd.
