You can now buy Automobilista 2 on Steam’s Early Access program at a cost that’s apparently 40% off. It is currently $30 for the base product and $100 for the “2020-2021 Season Pack”. Bundled together it is $117 with a current 10% combo discount. That might seem a little expensive – and it is – but it’s value is heavily dependent on what the future brings in terms of DLC in 2021. Putting down $30 for now should feel OK for most of us, and remember that is already 40% off…

“Automobilista 2 is a thorough racing simulator featuring some of the most sophisticated simulation models and a very large motorsports scope. A short Early Access period will help us tune it to its utmost potential in order to have it firing on all cylinders towards its full release.”
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“4 to 8 weeks.”
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“More game modes: Time Trial and Championship modes will be added over the course of Early Access (currently Custom Race, Test Day and Multiplayer are available)..Key game features such as a Multiplayer Rating System will be introduced over the course of Early Access.
Content: Although the game already features a wide roster of cars and tracks, it will be expanded further during Early Access in time for the full release.
General improvements to User Interface, AI, Audio, Visuals and Physics are planned throughout Early Access and beyond.
Localization: Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, German localization will be added in time for release.”
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“The game is already fairly complete in terms of content with 20 unique series and 40 race tracks featuring 100 unique layout in total.It runs stably, is relatively light on system resources and supports a wide range hardware and periphericals;
