Shortly after the release of Grand Prix Legends the sim racing community looked forward to another title that promised to offer a similar insight into historic racing. Trans-Am Racing ’68-’72 ultimately never released, a victim of a publishers shady dealings, but as a part of my research I uncovered a VHS of a never-released trailer for the game. Since 2016 Codemasters have improved their F1 franchise title every year. F1 2020 is an absolutely fantastic title and the physics really aren’t bad at all. The gameplay options such as My Team really add a massive amount to the immersive nature of the game and almost make me forget that there’s absolutely no chance we’ll see Mugello released for it.
If you haven’t considered F1 2020 because you’re prejudice based on previous titles please take another look. You just might enjoy it.
