Shawn Nash is a behind-the-scenes pioneer responsible for SODA Off Road Racing’s incredible physics, Papyrus’ graphical advancements and iRacing’s use of laser scan data for the physical track surfaces.

Back in March this year Digital Bros, owners of 505 Games and the Assetto Corsa franchise, mentioned Assetto Corsa 2 was on target for “Spring 2024”. In a new financial update this week they have now labeled it for released Q2, 2024, basically around the same time.

It’s a good sign, I suppose, that they didn’t push the release date back at all. While the numbers are trending downwards for the parent company, AC2 is seen as a reason to be positive, though the language does specifically state that only the PC version is being referred to. The console version of AC2 is now labeled as a “long-term publishing plan”.
