Milestone announced that their upcoming MotoGP 23 title will have crossplay, but also said “Cross-Play not supported on Nintendo Switch and PC” beside an asterisk. If this, disappointingly, means that PC and users of either PS5 or XBox can’t play alongside each other then that’s a major loss for the PC platform. However, if it just means that Switch and PC users can’t race against each other, I get it. Unfortunately I’m just not clear which is correct because it has been explained by an asterisk as a counter to the inclusive platform commentary directly above it.
I have asked for clarification on social media, but I don’t expect a response.
