Fanatec Announce CSL DD Race Ready P1 Wheel & Pedal Bundle

Fanatec have announced a new $500 bundle that includes a direct drive wheelbase, wheel rim and pedals that really helps to highlight just how overpriced the Logitech DD wheel really is. (No, I don’t have an affiliate link with Fanatec prompting me to say that).

The new CSL DD Race Ready P1 Bundle For PC comes with the CSL DD Wheel Base, CSL Steering Wheel P1 V2, and the CSL Pedals, giving you a realistic experience out of the box, while also being a great starting point in the extensive Fanatec ecosystem.

The combination of a high-performance, direct drive servo motor, an upgradeable metal pedal set and a versitile steering wheel suitable for many different driving styles makes this starter kit a simple plug and play experience for all major PC racing games.

Other Fanatec peripherals are also supported, including a shifter and handbrake.

Pedals: Both the throttle and brake axes use precision Hall-effect sensors. By measuring pedal position with magnets, the system is contactless, meaning no wear on the sensor and consistent performance.

Rim: The 300 mm diameter is suitable for many vehicle types, and the lightweight construction retains fine force feedback detail even at low torque settings.
