Shortly after the release of Grand Prix Legends the sim racing community looked forward to another title that promised to offer a similar insight into historic racing. Trans-Am Racing ’68-’72 ultimately never released, a victim of a publishers shady dealings, but as a part of my research I uncovered a VHS of a never-released trailer for the game. Studio 397 today annnounced a newly rebuilt Zandvoort will be coming to rFactor 2 before the 2021 Dutch Grand Prix, saying today that they “gathered significant amounts of new data and reference materials for the track” and will use those to ensure that rFactor 2 “has the most accurate and detailed representation of the circuit anywhere in sim racing”. The update will be free, and will replace the existing S397 workshop track.
