An Interview with Terence Groening; Master of Physics

Video game development is rarely about one man, but if it was, then Terence Groening should certainly get a mention for his contributions to the genre as the man responsible for the physics of Sportscar GT, EA’s PC F1 and NASCAR games of the early 2000’s, rFactor, rFactor 2 and every title and rFpro simulator that spawned from ISI’s engine.

This interview with RSC details his early life and career, through to him joining iRacing in 2021.

PlayStation and Xbox players will be able to sample the 2023 Season Update on August 15, while Nintendo Switch users will be able to get their hands on the game for the first time on October 3.

“We’re thrilled to keep the momentum going on World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing with the 2023 Season Update and Nintendo Switch release,” said Cristina Cordova, World of Outlaws Executive Director of Digital. “iRacing and Monster Games have delivered the ultimate World of Outlaws console gaming experience, and we’re excited to bring it forward into the current season with new content, additional drivers, and a new car and series in the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota. Three-time Chili Bowl champion Christopher Bell will serve as the Pre-Order Exclusive driver for the Switch edition.
