Video game development is rarely about one man, but if it was, then Terence Groening should certainly get a mention for his contributions to the genre as the man responsible for the physics of Sportscar GT, EA’s PC F1 and NASCAR games of the early 2000’s, rFactor, rFactor 2 and every title and rFpro simulator that spawned from ISI’s engine.

Within an Ayrton Senna tribute on social media today, KW Studios have teased an upcoming Interlagos track release for their simulation as well as what looks to be a 2022-spec Grand Prix car.
You can see in the image I edited below where I have picked out the edges of features on the car. It absolutely matches those seen in the current crop of Formula One cars. At this moment it’s an unofficial tease that I’m prepared to go out on a limb and report as I see it, but expect an official announcement at some point soon…
