This Footwork–Arrows car had a disastrious 1991 season. Firstly it couldn’t fit its engine, the Porsche 3512 3.5 V12, but even when it did it was heavy, slow, and unreliable. By mid-season the team redesigned the chassis to fit a Hart-prepared Cosworth-Ford DFR V8 engine, but that only led to a season high 10th-place finish in the Japanese Grand Prix.
First seen in sim racing with F1GP (1992).

Punto Simu, a new developer to the sim racing scene, have announced that the title they have been working on for seven years (alongside other studio activities) can now be wishlisted on Steam. It may be a little early to judge, but obviously it may not end up being the prettiest game on the market. Maybe it’ll redeem itself with impressive physics? You can check out the press release below for more details.

Press release:
EXTREME RALLY RAID ARRIVE TO STEAM
Can be added to wishlistAfter 7 years of development in parallel to studio activities, our first video game ‘Extreme Rally Raid’ can be added to the wishlist now on Steam, thinking of the future release planned for Q2 2024. Is a development made by Facundo Galella, with the cooperation of Dario Badagnani and the support of a lot of people in the game development community.
Extreme Rally Raid is a 3D PC video game (Windows and Linux), based on rally raid races: extreme competitions in long and strong stages, in a natural environment with lower human intervention, under different surfaces: sand, gravel and snow.
The stages that create the races are developed under real locations, taking real elevations and scale from places where this kind of races are performed. There are short races, splitted in few and short stages and long races with up to 9 stages of long duration, easily more than an hour in some cases, ensuring many hours of fun with each race.
Moreover, the vehicles are inspired by real ones, allowing a funny and realistic experience with the roadbook navigation and co-driver voice indications. This is possible either thanks to the addition of up to 9 IA cars.
