Video game development is full of names that have made groundbreaking steps you’ve never even heard about. Shawn Nash is a behind-the-scenes pioneer responsible for SODA Off Road Racing’s incredible physics, Papyrus’ graphical advancements and iRacing’s use of laser scan data for the physical track surfaces.
This interview with RSC, published in 2021, details his early life and career, through both his own company, Papyrus, Electronic Arts, to his time at iRacing.
A couple of days ago Milestone updated Monster Energy AMA Supercross 5, fixing some graphical, sound and track editor issues.
Here are the patch notes:
– Resolved an issue with flickering that occured to the number and the name of the riders;
– Fixed the issue with the stickers applied on the helmets with spherical projection;
– Fixed validation of the track with a specific track module in the Track Editor;
– Fixed the gap between qualifying time and main events time;
– Fixed the sound of the engines of the 2-Stroke bikes;
– Minor fixes;
