AGS JH25

Built by AGS and powered during 1991 by the Ford Cosworth DFR 2.5 V8. The JH25 and JH25B were identical in all but their name. The JH25B was used in twelve races during the 1991 season and saw little success, failing to qualify most of the season.

Hailing from Austria, Schordan entered the fastest lap time on the Monza circuit of Spectrum HoloByte’s Grand Prix II high-energy auto racing simulation game for PC CD-ROM, sold under the MicroProse® brand name. According to Spectrum HoloByte, Inc., over 4,000 contest entries were received.

This is a rare opportunity to put Grand Prix II driving skills to the test on the real raceway. I’m gearing up to meet the world’s fastest Grand Prix II gamer, said Race.

As the grand prize winner in the “Lap It Up” contest, Schordan won a trip to the Skip Barber Racing School at Laguna Seca Raceway in California. The event is scheduled for December 9. The Virtual Vehicle features a real Formula race wheel and racing seat and a built-in monitor stand, and connects to a standard PC joystick or port.
