An Interview with Terence Groening; Master of Physics

Video game development is rarely about one man, but if it was, then Terence Groening should certainly get a mention for his contributions to the genre as the man responsible for the physics of Sportscar GT, EA’s PC F1 and NASCAR games of the early 2000’s, rFactor, rFactor 2 and every title and rFpro simulator that spawned from ISI’s engine.

This interview with RSC details his early life and career, through to him joining iRacing in 2021.

Saber have released their Classics Vehicle Pack #1 DLC for Dakar Desert Rally, adding the all-wheel-drive Porsche 959 as well as the six-wheel Tatra 815 truck that I think are both from the 1980s. The DLC releases along with a new patch that includes an updated input device wizard to hopefully allow some unsupported steering wheels to work properly with the software. The DLC is a free download for Season Pass owners or $9.99 by itself.

You can view the press release and full patch notes below the trailer.
