The latest trailer for F1 Manager 2023 was posted today and it gives us a nice deep-dive on how drivers will be developed from the F2 and F3 feeder series up to F1, then how you can improve their abilities once you get them into your Formula One team.

Here is what they mentioned:
– You now instruct drivers on areas they should improve
– Facilities will continue to affect things, but in a more structured way
– Driver confidence will feed off morale of the team, affinity with race engineers
– Lack of confidence causes mistakes
– Driver ability to develop decreases with age and can go to negative gain (decrease)
– F2 and F3 are fully simulated (you cannot manage them), but this gives you a greater scouting insight when hiring a young driver
– Contracts can be signed immediately or the next season
