Frontier have announced that F1 Manager 2023 is now available as a physical release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox. Pick it up at your local store, I guess!

Press release:

Design the blueprints for victory and take total control of every decision in F1® Manager 2023, as physical copies become available from today

Lead your team to the top step of the podium, extend your legacy with the introduction of team switching in an expanded career, and rewrite the outcomes of real races in Race Replay.

Frontier Developments’ officially licensed Formula 1® management simulation, F1® Manager 2023, accelerates onto shelves with a physical edition today, offering players complete control of an F1 team from the factory to the front-row of the grid. Fans can make a pit-stop for their copy from major retailers on PlayStation® 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation® 4 and Xbox One for a suggested retail price of £44.99/$54.99/€54.99.

The physical edition arrives following the introduction of a substantial update which brought with it a Team Switching feature, extending players’ legacy in the sport by offering new opportunities with rival teams at the conclusion of every season. Whilst multiple successes will open the doors at front-running teams, failure to meet a team’s objectives may result in players looking elsewhere to rebuild their career.

Fans can also dive into individual scenarios generated from every real-world race to date across the 2023 season in the new Race Replay mode. In ‘Starting Grid’ players can choose a team of their choice to lead from lights out, whilst ‘Race Moment’ places them part-way through the race as a specific team, aiming to achieve a set objective and rewrite the final result. Both scenario types utilise a wealth of real data from the actual races, from starting grid positions and car performance to the weather itself, fully immersing fans in the decisions of the real Team Principals throughout the 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship™. New scenarios will be added after every race weekend in the 2023 season, challenging players to improve on the real results and sharpen their race management skills.

In the returning and improved career mode, Team Principals will be responsible for every facet of their team’s development, from the first day at the factory through to the negotiation of contracts and the development focus of their all-star driver pairing. Meanwhile, car part development brings a new durability consideration, challenging fans to manage their budgets to remain within the cost cap. On track, the action accelerates with stunning broadcast-style visuals and expanded team radio bringing every moment of drama to life. Enhanced driver confidence and tactics systems give players even greater control of the action in every corner, whilst crucial pit-stops will be defined by their pit-crew’s training schedule, where the risk of a costly mistake is balanced with achieving an outright quick stop.

Physical copies of F1® Manager 2023 are available right now on PlayStation® 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation® 4 and Xbox One, for a suggested retail price of £44.99/$54.99/€54.99 and digitally on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4 and Xbox One. Players can expand their experience with the F1® Manager 2023: Deluxe Upgrade Pack to test their skills by tackling an additional 12 Exclusive Scenarios based around some of the sport’s most asked hypothetical questions. The Deluxe Upgrade Pack is available to purchase digitally only, for a suggested retail price of £12.99/$14.99/€14.99.

* F1® Manager 2023 releases on 12 September in Europe and North America. Individual country release dates may vary.
