As a direct ancestor of iRacing, the ‘Grand Prix Legends engine’ had multiple stock car racing false starts, before eventually releasing as NASCAR Racing 4. The original NASCAR 3, cancelled and replaced by one that used NASCAR 2’s engine, is barely remembered.
Shortly after the release of Grand Prix Legends the sim racing community looked forward to another title that promised to offer a similar insight into historic racing. Trans-Am Racing ’68-’72 ultimately never released, a victim of a publishers shady dealings, but as a part of my research I uncovered a VHS of a never-released trailer for the game. The developer tweeted this morning that the 2020 GT WORLD CHALLENGE PACK is coming to PC on November 18th, 2020 and PS4/Xbox One this winter. The tweet included some new screenshots (below).
The DLC will featuring the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari (Imola), the new Ferrari 488 GT3 EVO 2020, the new Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO and a number of fixes and updates for the software:

• Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo (2020)
• 60+ new car liveries
• All 2020 GT WORLD CHALLENGE Drivers and team entries

The 2020 GT WORLD CHALLENGE pack also comes with the version 1.6 game update that brings an improved AI algorithm and physics, in addition to some UI and performance improvements.
