If you ever played Papyrus’ seminal Grand Prix Legends then you’ve read his name. Rich began working as a tester on NASCAR Racing (1994) and was with Papyrus at the end. In this interview, published in 2022, we discuss his time at the legendary studio and the design of Grand Prix Legends, including initial feelings of hurt at not being asked to join iRacing.

EA have previewed EA Sports WRC again with a second deep-dive video that details the modes and gameplay options. Honestly, this looks really good.
– Quick play solo and multiplayer (with 32 players) is where you setup custom events.
– Club mode is where you can setup a series of events that can span months.
– Championship mode is a single WRC, WRC 2 or WRC Junior season as a real driver.
– Career mode is a full WRC experience starting with your own team.
– You can begin career mode in WRC Junior, WRC 2 or WRC.
– Funding will be given with goals for you to meet across rallies and the whole season.
– You can hire a teammate, staff, acquire new cars.
– ‘Build your car’ allows you to design and develop your own car starting off with the car class, engine position, differential, radiator, clutches, gearboxes and more.
– ‘Build your car’ allows you to also fully customize the interior and exterior of the car.
– ‘Moments’ confirmed to include many historic WRC moments for you to re-enact.
– ‘Regularity Rally’ is a new game mode that tasks you with maintaining an average speed, rather than fastest possible.
