Press release:

Extend your legacy in F1® Manager 2023 as first major free update offers Team Principals the opportunity to change teams mid-career
Physical copies of F1® Manager 2023 will be available from 12 September alongside existing digital downloads, where players will manage the F1® team of their choice on their terms.

F1® Manager 2023 players are now able to download the eagerly anticipated Update 1.6 across PC and consoles, which introduces the ability for Team Principals to extend their career and take on a new challenge with another team on the grid following the conclusion of each season in Career mode.

Throughout their time in the hotseat players will see their performance evaluated by the board, who will set objectives based on their respective short and long-term targets. Based on their success in achieving these results, Team Principals will see their individual rating rise or fall across each season as other teams take note of their performance. Following the conclusion of each season in-game, players will be presented with an overview of teams interested in securing their services for the following year’s campaign. Whilst a successful season might see a dream move to a top team on the table, a string of poor performances will see their options limited to those battling at the back of the pack as players look to rebuild their reputation.

Update 1.6 also brings with it a number of changes requested by the community, including adjustments to the initial season objectives for Mercedes, Alfa Romeo and Alpha Tauri. The full list of changes arriving in this update can be found on the F1 Manager website, alongside other raised topics which are currently under investigation.

In F1® Manager 2023, Team Principals will be responsible for every facet of their team’s development, from the first day at the factory through to the precise commands relayed to their all-star driver pairing. On track, the action accelerates with stunning broadcast-style visuals and immersive team radio bringing every moment of drama to life.

F1® Manager 2023 is available to purchase digitally now on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation® 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation® 4 and Xbox One, for a suggested retail price of £44.99/$54.99/€54.99. Physical copies of F1® Manager 2023 will be available from 12 September* as the second half of the season begins to heat up, ahead of the FORMULA ONE SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2023. Players can expand their experience digitally with the F1® Manager 2023: Deluxe Upgrade Pack to test their skills by tackling an additional 12 Exclusive Scenarios based around some of the sport’s most asked hypothetical questions. Deluxe Upgrade Pack is available to purchase digitally for a suggested retail price of £12.99/$14.99/€14.99.

* F1® Manager 2023 releases on 12 September in Europe and North America. Individual country release dates may vary.
