World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing to Receive 2023 Season Update, Also Coming to Nintendo Switch
New paint schemes, tracks, and more to be added; price also drops to $39.99 for existing base game

iRacing and Monster Games are pleased to announce that World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing will receive extensive updates for the 2023 calendar year, including a 2023 season update and a Nintendo Switch port. The announcement coincides with an impending price drop to $39.99 for the base game on all Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox platforms.

“The response to World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing has been so incredible that we couldn’t wait to start working on a 2023 Season Update,” said iRacing president Tony Gardner. “We’re thrilled about how many members of the iRacing and World of Outlaws communities have embraced the game on PlayStation and Xbox, and we can’t wait to add even more with our upcoming Nintendo Switch port. We’ll have exciting new content on the way for all platforms later this year, and we’re sure the community will be pumped for the new cars, tracks, and drivers!”

World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing has been both a critical and commercial success since dropping for PlayStation and Xbox in the fall of 2022. Featuring over 100 real-world World of Outlaws and DIRTcar drivers and dozens of tracks, including many of the top venues on the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car and Case Construction Equipment Late Model calendars, the game marked the long-awaited return of World of Outlaws to the console gaming space after a longstanding relationship with Monster Games’ parent company iRacing for its PC simulation product.

The World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing 2023 Season Update is expected for PlayStation and Xbox platforms in late summer. It will include new paint schemes and drivers for World of Outlaws Sprint Car and Late Model drivers, three new tracks, and even a new series, with further details to be released closer to launch. The 2023 Season Update will be an add-on to World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing, following the conclusion of the 2022 Season Pass.

Joining the updated content for PlayStation and Xbox will be a Nintendo Switch port, which is coming this fall. The Switch version of World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing will include all content released to date, adding two cars (the Big Block and UMP Modifieds) and three tracks (Limaland Motorsports Park, Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55, and Lucas Oil Speedway) to the base content that shipped with the original game. The 2023 Season Pass will also be integrated into the Switch version of World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing.
