Asobo, known today as the Microsoft Flight Simulator developer, created groundbreaking technology for large scale maps that was intended to be used in a high quality rally raid title. It was never released and ended up as FUEL, a post-apocalyptic open-world racing game. What happened?
Better known today as the developer of Skyrim and Fallout, Bethesda once had a well-respected racing game franchise and were deep into development of a licensed Skip Barber Racing title that never released.
iRacing and Monster Games have announced another couple of tracks for their upcoming console-only World of Outlaws title. Cedar Lake Speedway and Kokomo Speedway are the two tracks announced this time, although seeing Kokomo is a slight surprise considering I believe it isn’t on the current schedule… So this either means we are getting last years tracks, next years tracks (schedule announcement incoming?) or they’ve decided to showcase some tracks not on this years schedule at all.
