Better known today as the developer of Skyrim and Fallout, Bethesda once had a well-respected racing game franchise and were deep into development of a licensed Skip Barber Racing title that never released.
Asobo, known today as the Microsoft Flight Simulator developer, created groundbreaking technology for large scale maps that was intended to be used in a high quality rally raid title. It was never released and ended up as FUEL, a post-apocalyptic open-world racing game. What happened?
Kazunori Yamauchi, Gran Turismo 7 game designer, posted on Twitter that there will be a new update for GT7 next week. He also posted the dark image with it, which I assume previews three cars that will be in the update. I tried lightening and inverting the image but there really isn’t any data in the black areas.
Twitter commentary seems to suggest the cars are a Maserati A6GCS Spider, Porsche 918 Spyder and Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette.
