Shortly after the release of Grand Prix Legends the sim racing community looked forward to another title that promised to offer a similar insight into historic racing. Trans-Am Racing ’68-’72 ultimately never released, a victim of a publishers shady dealings, but as a part of my research I uncovered a VHS of a never-released trailer for the game. The new F1 Manager 2023 trailer, posted today, shows off ‘Race Replay’, a feature where you can select from 2023 real-world races and moments within them, then try to alter the course of history and complete a number of challenges based upon them.
Can you put Alonso onto the Intermediate tire at Monaco and hold off Max Verstappen for the win? It’ll be interesting to find out. I really hope this feature works well, but correcting certain other teams on pit strategy will be a full-time job!
