As a direct ancestor of iRacing, the ‘Grand Prix Legends engine’ had multiple stock car racing false starts, before eventually releasing as NASCAR Racing 4. The original NASCAR 3, cancelled and replaced by one that used NASCAR 2’s engine, is barely remembered.
Although entered as Modena, this car is very much a Lamborghini, which is why its official constructor entry said “Lambo”. The 291 was a reasonable chassis that used the powerful but unreliable Lamborghini 3512 3.5 V12.
It got near the points on a few occasions, most notably Imola where it was running fifth in the final corner before heartbreak struck and dropped it to ninth.
