Press release:

Hasbro Interactive’s Grand Prix 3 Races Into the U.S. With the Return of Formula One

BEVERLY, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sept. 18, 2000–Just as Formula One racing prepares to return to the U.S., Hasbro Interactive (NYSE:HAS) announces the release of the officially licensed Formula One simulation game, Grand Prix 3. Grand Prix 3 features stunningly realistic graphics that transform the PC into a driving machine sure to thrill both Formula One fans and newcomers to the sport.

Grand Prix 3 has been hailed by U.S. and European game critics as the definitive Formula One racing experience. Developer Geoff Crammond, who is revered in computer gaming and racing circles, spent a full three years developing Grand Prix 3. The result is far and away the best Grand Prix driving experience, building on the success of F1 Grand Prix and Grand Prix 2, which topped computer gaming charts worldwide with their release in 1992 and 1996, respectively. Shortly after its release internationally last month, Grand Prix 3 was named Europe’s top-selling PC game.

With incredible attention to detail, Grand Prix 3 features the circuits, teams, and many of the drivers and cars from the 1998 Championship season. Some of the special features include detailed 3D track graphics, wet weather effects, collision damage and force feedback.

Grand Prix 3, for Windows(R) 95/98, is available at computer game retailers nationwide. For more information, visit Grand Prix 3’s Web site at www.grandprixgames.com.

Formula One racing is extremely popular worldwide, with an estimated 50 million TV viewers. Later this month, Formula One returns to the U.S. for the first time since 1991, with an officially sanctioned race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on September 24.
